Established in 2000, the Fog welcomes all players, regardless of rugby experience, gender, or sexual orientation. Our league team is a Division IV men's team with the Northern California Rugby Football Union (NCRFU), comprised of 11 teams from the Central Coast, the Bay Area, Northern California, and Reno, Nevada. The Fog is a member of International Gay Rugby (IGR) and is the founding team of the Bingham Cup, IGR's biannual world cup for gay rugby.
Everyone is welcome at our team practices, and coming to practice is one of the best ways to get a feel for rugby and meet your new team. Even if you just want to come out for a good workout, you're welcome with the Fog.
Club Membership
You do not need to be a member to attend practices or watch our matches, and we recommend you come to a few practices before becoming a full member.
We have two levels of official membership - players and social supporters.
